- (a) A person may not act as a broker or manager in this state for an insurer engaged in the business of insurance or reinsurance in this state unless the person holds an appropriate license under this chapter.
- (b) A person who holds a manager license is not required to obtain a broker license but must comply with Subchapter D to act as a broker.
