In this chapter:

1. (1) "Owner" includes an individual, firm, association, or private corporation.

2. (2) "Story" has its usual architectural meaning and includes:

   1. (A) a basement that extends five feet or more above the grade line on one or more sides of a building;
   2. (B) a balcony or mezzanine floor of a building;
   3. (C) a roof garden; or
   4. (D) an attic used for any purpose.
