If the commission contracts with a third party administrator under Section 62.055, the commission may:

1. (1) implement the contract;
2. (2) monitor the third party administrator, through reporting requirements and other means, to ensure performance under the contract and quality delivery of services; and
3. (3) provide payment under the contract to the third party administrator.
