A person may not administer a psychoactive medication to a committed person who refuses to take the medication voluntarily unless:

1. (1) the committed person is having a medication-related emergency; or
2. (2) the committed person is under an order issued under Section 841.205 authorizing the administration of medication regardless of the committed person's refusal.
