Tex. Hum. Res. Code § 221.054 – Data Collection

(a) The department shall collect comprehensive data concerning the outcomes of local probation programs throughout the state.
(b) Data collected under Subsection (a) must include:
1. (1) a description of the types of programs and services offered by a juvenile probation department, including a description of the components of each program or service offered; and
2. (2) to the extent possible, the rate at which juveniles who enter or complete juvenile probation are later committed to the custody of the state.
