1. (a) The commissioners court may:

   1. (1) operate and maintain the county's firefighter training facilities; and

   2. (2) set and collect charges for:

      1. (A) services performed at those facilities; and
      2. (B) information furnished to others by the use of those facilities.

2. (b) The commissioners court shall pay the expenses of operating and maintaining the county's firefighter training facilities from:

   1. (1) charges collected under Subsection (a); and
   2. (2) any other available county funds.
