Tex. Gov't Code § 662.044

Columbus Day

Effective Sep 1, 1993Added by Acts 1993, 73rd Leg., ch. 268

(a) The second Monday of October is Columbus Day in honor of Christopher Columbus.
(b) Columbus Day shall be regularly observed by appropriate ceremonies.
(c) Public offices of this state shall remain open on Columbus Day.
