The commission shall provide information to the public concerning whether jails under the commission's jurisdiction are in compliance with state law and the rules, standards, and procedures of the commission:

1. (1) on any publicly accessible Internet website maintained by the commission; and
2. (2) through other formats, including newsletters or press releases, as determined by the commission.
