The council shall study and make recommendations relating to the effect of the changing demographics of this state on the following areas, as they relate to this state:

1. (1) the economy;
2. (2) the workplace;
3. (3) educational attainment;
4. (4) health;
5. (5) veterans affairs; and
6. (6) political leadership.
