Tex. Gov't Code § 442.271 – Jurisdiction

(a) The Port Isabel Lighthouse is a state historical monument and park and is under the jurisdiction of the commission.
(b) The Port Isabel Lighthouse State Historical Monument and Park is a historic site for purposes of Subchapter C.
