- (a) The Private Sector Advisory Council is a permanent special advisory committee created to advise the governor or the governor's designee on homeland security issues relevant to the private sector.
(b) The council is composed of:
(1) one representative of a private organization or entity for each of the following sectors of the state, each appointed by the governor or the governor's designee:
- (A) agriculture and food;
- (B) banking and finance;
- (C) chemicals and hazardous materials;
- (D) the defense industry;
- (E) energy;
- (F) emergency services;
- (G) information technology;
- (H) telecommunications;
- (I) postal and shipping;
- (J) public health;
- (K) transportation;
- (L) ports and waterways; and
- (M) national monuments and icons; and
- (2) other members, as determined by the governor or the governor's designee.
