1. (a) The courts may appoint the necessary staff and support personnel for the administrator.
2. (b) As part of the staff, the courts may appoint witness coordinators who, in addition to other duties designated by the court administrator, shall execute criminal process.
3. (c) On appointment, the courts shall commission each witness coordinator as a peace officer.
