1. (a) If permitted by the credit union's bylaws, a minor:

   1. (1) may vote in a meeting of the credit union's members; and
   2. (2) is eligible to hold an office or committee membership in the credit union.
2. (b) A minor may not vote through a parent or guardian at a meeting of the credit union's members.
