The board of the Texas Juvenile Justice Department by rule shall adopt standards for:

1. (1) the investigation under Section 261.401 of suspected child abuse, neglect, or exploitation in a facility under the jurisdiction of the Texas Juvenile Justice Department; and
2. (2) compiling information on those investigations.
