1. (a) Each report filed under this chapter shall be preserved by the authority with whom it is filed for at least two years after the date it is filed.

2. (b) Each time a person requests to inspect a report, the commission shall place in the file a statement of the person's name and address, whom the person represents, and the date of the request. The commission shall retain that statement in the file for one year after the date the requested report is filed. This subsection does not apply to a request to inspect a report by:

   1. (1) a member or employee of the commission acting on official business; or
   2. (2) an individual acting on the individual's own behalf.
