In this chapter:

1. (1) "Cooperating entity" means the:

   1. (A) Children's Learning Institute at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston;
   2. (B) Health and Human Services Commission;
   3. (C) Texas Education Agency; and
   4. (D) Texas Workforce Commission.

2. (2) "Early childhood interagency work group" means the work group established to promote collaboration across state agencies serving families with young children and that consists of representatives from the following state agencies:

   1. (A) Department of Family and Protective Services;
   2. (B) Department of State Health Services;
   3. (C) Health and Human Services Commission;
   4. (D) Texas Education Agency; and
   5. (E) Texas Workforce Commission.
3. (3) "Lead agency" means the Texas Education Agency.
4. (4) "System" means the early childhood integrated data system established under this subchapter.
