Sexual Assault
Effective Jan 1, 2025Added by Acts 2023, 88th Leg., R.S., Ch. 765 (H.B. 4504)
Sexual assault may be prosecuted in any county:
(1) in which the offense was committed; or
(2) in which the victim was abducted, if applicable, or through or into which the victim was transported in the course of the abduction and sexual assault.
