1. (a) An institution or order, by resolution or other consent of its members, may incorporate under this subchapter if the institution or order is:

   1. (1) the grand lodge of Texas, Ancient, Free and Accepted Masons;
   2. (2) the Grand Royal Arch Chapter of Texas;
   3. (3) the Grand Commandery of Knights Templars of Texas;
   4. (4) the grand lodge of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows of Texas; or
   5. (5) another similar institution or order organized for charitable or benevolent purposes.
2. (b) A corporation formed under this subchapter shall file a certificate of formation in accordance with Chapter 4 that complies with this subchapter.
