Members of the council must be Texas residents and have knowledge or expertise in one or more of the following areas:
- (1) artificial intelligence systems;
- (2) data privacy and security;
- (3) ethics in technology or law;
- (4) public policy and regulation;
- (5) risk management related to artificial intelligence systems;
- (6) improving the efficiency and effectiveness of governmental operations; or
- (7) anticompetitive practices and market fairness.
