1. (1) To participate in the Tennessee Promise Scholarship program, a Partnering Organization shall be recommended by the mayor or executive of each county in which the Partnering Organization participates and approved by the Board of Directors.
2. (2) An approved Partnering Organization may continue to serve in such capacity unless it is no longer recommended by a county mayor or executive or approved by the Board of Directors. Final approval to serve as a Partnering Organization shall be given at the discretion of the Board of Directors and based on the Partnering Organization’s satisfactory performance and compliance with these rules.
3. (3) A negative recommendation by one county mayor or executive shall not automatically disqualify the Partnering Organization from participating in other counties but will be considered in the Board of Directors’ evaluation of the Partnering Organization’s continued participation in the Program.
