1. (1) Every carrier operating solely in intrastate commerce and subject to the jurisdiction of the Commissioner of Safety and Homeland Security shall have displayed on the side of each vehicle the following information:

   1. (a) The declared maximum gross weight, including motor vehicle and load;
   2. (b) The name or trade name and address of the motor carrier under whose authority the vehicle is being operated; and
   3. (c) An identifying company number of the vehicle if the carrier operates more than one vehicle.
