Abbreviations

(1) The following abbreviations shall, unless the context clearly indicated otherwise, have the following meaning:
1. (a) ASTM = American Society for Testing and Materials
2. (b) Btu = British thermal unit
3. (c) C = degrees Centigrade
4. (d) cal = calorie
5. (e) CO = carbon monoxide
6. (f) CO2 = carbon dioxide
7. (g) dscf = dry cubic foot at standard conditions
8. (h) dscm = dry cubic meter at standard conditions
9. (i) F = degrees Fahrenheit
10. (j) g = gram
11. (k) gr = grain
12. (l) H2S = hydrogen sulfide
13. (m) H2SO4 = sulfuric acid
14. (n) Hg = Mercury
15. (o) hr = hour
16. (p) kg = kilogram
17. (q) lb = pound
18. (r) mg = milligram
19. (s) mm = millimeter
20. (t) MW = megawatt
21. (u) NO = nitric oxide
22. (v) NO2 = nitrogen dioxide
23. (w) NOx = nitrogen oxides
24. (x) ppb = parts per billion
25. (y) ppm = parts per million
26. (z) psia = pounds per square inch absolute
27. (aa) sec = second
28. (bb) SO2 = sulfur dioxide
