Practice as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse means an expanded scope of nursing and includes the registered nurse scope of practice. The scope of an advanced practice registered nurse with a certificate of fitness includes, but is not limited to, performing acts of medical diagnosis, the development of a medical plan of care and therapeutics for a patient, prescribing medication, treatments, medical equipment, tests, procedures, and dispensing.
