- (1) The hospital must be provided with space and facilities for housekeeping equipment and supply storage in each service area of the hospital. A bulk storage area for storage of housekeeping supplies must be provided in other than patient care areas.
- (2) The hospital must have a written plan for the provision of an emergency water supply.
- (3) The building must be kept in good repair, clean, sanitary and safe at all times.
- (4) Mechanical and electrical equipment must be maintained in good repair and operating condition at all times.
- (5) The hospital must be provided with an appropriate method for disposal of waste. Accumulation of waste material must be disposed of routinely as needed to maintain a clean and safe environment. MENTAL HEALTH HOSPITAL FACILITIES
