1. (1) No settlement is effective unless and until it is approved by the Commissioner or the Commissioner’s designee, or a court of competent jurisdiction in accordance with Tenn. Code Ann. § 50-6-206.
2. (2) Proposed settlements shall be submitted on a form prescribed by the Commissioner. The employee shall be interviewed by a Workers’ Compensation Specialist prior to a proposed settlement.
