1. (1) Employers are required to comply with 29 CFR 1910.1200(f) Labels and other forms of warning.
2. (2) Employers shall ensure that work areas in which non-containerized hazardous chemicals are generated or produced as a result of the process or operation taking place in such work area (e.g., welding fumes, carbon monoxide from powered industrial trucks exhaust, etc.) contain a sign or placard identifying the hazardous chemical(s) and appropriate hazard warnings.
3. (3) Employees shall not be required to work with a hazardous chemical from an unlabeled container or in an unsigned or unplacarded work area containing a hazardous chemical produced as a result of the process or operation in such work area except as provided in 29 CFR 1910.1200(f).
