Any local government opting out of the provisions of T.C.A. § 68-120-101 regarding residential building codes and standards for one (1) and two (2) family dwellings, townhouses and additions thereto of thirty

1. (30) square feet or more of interior space shall submit to the Division the following:
2. (1) A certified copy of the resolution opting out of these provisions;
3. (2) The date of the next election for the legislative body; and
4. (3) The name and mailing address of the person responsible by law for recordkeeping for the legislative body and to whom any notifications should be sent.
