1. (1) Unless otherwise provided by applicable law or the provisions of this chapter, the required minimum standards for the use, exhibition, or display of fireworks, pyrotechnics, or flame effects not classified as D.O.T. Class C common fireworks (also known as 1.4G fireworks) in the State of Tennessee shall be those in T.C.A. Title 68, Chapter 104, et seq., and those in the following publications:

   1. (a) Standard for Flame Effects Before an Audience (NFPA 160-2006), published by the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), Batterymarch Park, Quincy, MA 02269;
   2. (b) Code for Fireworks Display (NFPA 1123-2006), published by the NFPA;
   3. (c) Code for the Manufacture, Transportation, Storage, and Retail Sale of Fireworks and Pyrotechnic Articles (NFPA 1124-2006), published by the NFPA;
   4. (d) Standards for the Use of Pyrotechnics Before a Proximate Audience (NFPA 1126-2006), published by the NFPA;
