In addition to having filed an application, individuals seeking licensure shall be required to pass an examination.

1. (1) The Board adopts as its licensure examination for dietitian/nutritionists the Commission published examination or its successor examination(s).

2. (2) Prior to submitting an application to the Board for consideration for licensure, the applicant must have taken and passed the adopted examination.

   1. (a) Admission to, application for, and the fees required to sit for the examination are governed by and must be submitted directly to the testing agency.
   2. (b) The applicant may receive additional information concerning the examination by contacting the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
3. (3) Passing scores on the Commission examination are determined by the testing agency. Successful completion of the examination as certified to the Board is adopted by the Board as constituting successful completion of the written section of the examination.
4. (4) Evidence of passing the examination must be submitted to the Board in conjunction with the applicant’s filing an application for licensure with this Board. Proof of successful completion shall be either a notarized copy of a current, valid card issued by the Commission or original certification submitted directly to the Board from the Commission.
