ADMINISTRATIVE HISTORY The Public Acts of 1980, Chapter 865 terminated the Tennessee Commission on Children and Youth and the Office of Child Development. The Act provides that the functions of these two agencies be merged to form the Tennessee Children's Services Commission. Passed; April 17, 1980; approved May 1, 1980. Original chapter 0340-3 filed December 7, 1982; effective January 6, 1983. Repeal of chapter 0340-1 by opinion of the Attorney General; February 23, 1983. Amendment to rules 0340-3-.01 and 0340-3-.05 filed April 29, 1983; effective July 13, 1983. Repeal and new chapter 0340-3 filed July 29, 1985; effective October 14, 1985.
