- (1) Intern supervision is for the purpose of training or teaching, by a supervisor who monitors the performance of an individual. For supervising Interns, the supervisor is required to be physically on site at all times during the supervision of the Intern.
- (2) The Intern supervisor must provide regular documented face-to-face guidance and instructions with respect to the skills and competencies of the person supervised.
- (3) Intern supervision may be performed by a Tennessee licensed chiropractic physician or certified chiropractic therapy assistant.
- (4) A supervisor who is a chiropractic therapy assistant must have been certified for a minimum of two (2) years prior to performing supervision duties.
