- (1) Pursuant to federal law, every male who is between the ages of eighteen (18) and twenty-six (26), and is a citizen of the United States or a resident of the United States must register with the Selective Service.
- (2) Notwithstanding the provisions of paragraph (1), the requirement to register shall not apply to any alien lawfully admitted to the United States as a non-immigrant under Section 101(a)(15) of the “Immigration and Nationality Act”, as amended, for so long as he continues to maintain a lawful non- immigrant status in the United States.
