§ 34-23-8
S.D. Codified Laws § 34-23-8 (2026)
Service of criminal sentence not interfered with.

Nothing contained in § 34-23-6 or 34-23-7 shall be construed to interfere with the service of any sentence imposed by a court as a punishment for the commission of crime.
