Any material, compound, mixture, or preparation is included in Schedule III that contains any quantity of the following substances having a potential for abuse associated with a depressant effect on the central nervous system:

1. (1) Any substance that contains any quantity of a derivative of barbituric acid, or any salt of a derivative of barbituric acid, except those substances that are specifically listed in other schedules;
2. (2) Chloral betaine;
3. (3) Chloral hydrate;
4. (4) Chlorhexadol;
5. (5) Lysergic acid;
6. (6) Lysergic acid amide;
7. (7) Methyprylon;
8. (8) Sulfondiethylmethane;
9. (9) Sulfonethylmethane;
10. (10) Sulfonmethane;
11. (11) Amobarbital, pentobarbital, and secobarbital in suppository dosage form;
12. (12) Gamma hydroxy butyrate;
13. (13) Dronabinol in sesame oil and encapsulated in a gelatin capsule in a drug product approved for marketing by the United States Food and Drug Administration;
14. (14) Buprenorphine;
15. (15) Embutramide;
16. (16) Perampanel [2-(2-oxo-1-phenyl-5-pyridin-2-yl-1,2-dihydropyridin-3-yl) benzonitrile], including its salts, isomers, and salts of isomers.
