S.D. Const. art. VII, § 1

Right to vote.

1889 Const., art. VII, § 5; amendment proposed by SL 1974, ch 2, approved Nov. 5, 1974.

Elections shall be free and equal, and no power, civil or military, shall at any time interfere to prevent the free exercise of the right of suffrage.
