The operator shall notify the secretary if the results of six consecutive bimonthly sample sets show that ground water quality in the production zone has met the restoration values on the restoration table and that the restoration values indicate stable trends. After acknowledgement in writing by the secretary confirming ground water restoration, the operator may request, through a technical revision, that the secretary modify the site water quality monitoring plan, which may include a reduction in sampling frequency, parameters to be measured, and the number of wells to be sampled in the restored production zone.
