Sampling and test procedures for pollutants listed in this chapter must be in accordance with guidelines in 40 C.F.R. Part 136 as it existed on July 1, 2016. Chemical oxygen demand (COD) or total organic carbon (TOC) may be substituted for BOD₅ when a long-term BOD₅:COD or BOD:TOC correlation has been demonstrated.
