The standards of performance for grain elevators are those in 40 C.F.R. Part 60, Subpart DD (July 1, 2024). A source subject to Subpart DD is exempt from the obligation to obtain a Part 70 operating permit if the source is not required to obtain a Part 70 operating permit for a reason other than the source is subject to Subpart DD. Exempted sources must still meet the applicable requirements in Subpart DD.
