Persons seeking certification in a specific discipline must pass the examination for that discipline at the end of the training course. Persons seeking recertification must pass an examination every three years. The following are the examination requirements for each discipline:

1. (1) Inspectors:

   1. (a) 50 multiple-choice questions;
   2. (b) Passing score: 70 percent;

2. (2) Management planners:

   1. (a) 50 multiple-choice questions;
   2. (b) Passing score: 70 percent;

3. (3) Abatement project designers:

   1. (a) 100 multiple-choice questions;
   2. (b) Passing score: 70 percent;

4. (4) Asbestos abatement contractors or supervisors:

   1. (a) 100 multiple-choice questions;
   2. (b) Passing score: 70 percent;

5. (5) Asbestos abatement workers:

   1. (a) 50 multiple-choice questions;
   2. (b) Passing score: 70 percent.
