Refresher courses must be specific to each discipline. Refresher courses must be conducted as separate and distinct courses and may not be combined with any other training during the period of the refresher course. The annual refresher training course must include the following:

1. (1) Information specific to the particular discipline;
2. (2) A review of changes in federal and state regulations;
3. (3) Developments in state-of-the-art procedures;
4. (4) A review of key aspects of the initial training course.
