A permit-issuing authority may issue a single trip or extended period permit to authorize the movement of an overlength vehicle that has a forklift mounted at the rear of the vehicle. The permit shall apply to the semitrailer or power unit.

The permit authorizes movement on the state trunk highway system. The permit is valid 24 hours a day.
