The following are the maximum speeds on certain highways in Jones County:

1. (1) State Trunk Highway 248 beginning 0.2 mile east of Kennedy Avenue in Murdo, then west for 0.9 mile, thirty-five miles per hour; then west for 0.2 mile, forty miles per hour, then west to Jones-Jackson county line, fifty-five miles per hour;
2. (2) U.S. Highway 83 beginning at its junction with State Trunk Highway 248 in Murdo, then south for 0.4 mile, thirty-five miles per hour, then south for 0.2 mile, forty-five miles per hour;
3. (3) State Trunk Highway 248 beginning 0.2 mile east of Kennedy Avenue in Murdo, then east to 0.15 mile east of 279th Avenue, fifty-five miles per hour, then east for 0.5 mile, forty-five miles per hour; then east to the Jones-Lyman county line, fifty-five miles per hour.
