Household contribution rates if applicable, are available on the department's website at: http://dss.sd.gov/childcare/childcareassistance/eligible.aspx.

The household shall pay its share of child care costs directly to its primary care provider. The amount remaining on the allowable child care costs is paid by the department directly to the provider.
