The department may revoke a license or registration certificate, due to noncompliance with a licensing or registration standard, by providing a thirty-day written notice to the provider. The thirty-day written notice is not required if the department determines that the revocation is necessary to protect the health, safety, or welfare of a child. The provider may not reapply for a license or registration certificate for one year after the date of revocation.
