A facility, in which children under age five are cared for, must have unused electrical outlets covered with an Underwriters' Laboratories-approved electrical outlet cover. If the facility was constructed or approved after June 4, 1995, it must have self-closing outlet covers that cover outlet holes automatically upon removal of appliance prongs.
