Water must be derived from a community water system or from a water system that is tested at least annually by the Department of Agriculture and Natural Resources or a laboratory certified by the Department of Health to conduct such tests. The water must be tested for bacteria and nitrate levels and must be safe for consumption. The provider shall maintain written documentation of the test results. Hot water from plumbing fixtures normally used by children in care may not exceed 120 degrees Fahrenheit.
