The following inpatient hospitals and inpatient hospital units are exempt from the diagnosis-related group methodology:

1. (1) Rehabilitation hospitals and rehabilitation hospital units;
2. (2) LifeScape Children's Care Hospital;
3. (3) Long-term acute care hospitals;
4. (4) Indian Health Services hospitals;
5. (5) In-state critical access hospitals; and

6. (6) The Human Services Center hospital.

   The department shall publish the exempted hospitals, hospital units, and the reimbursement rate for the exempted hospitals and hospital units on the department's fee schedule website.
