If a fair hearing results in a finding for the individual, the department shall take one of the following actions, as applicable:

1. (1) If the individual's request is to amend information, the department shall correct the inaccurate information; or
2. (2) If the individual's request is to remove the record, the department shall remove the record of the substantiation and may not place the information into the central registry.
