Burial spaces owned by the applicant or recipient are excluded as a resource when applying the resource limit in § 67:12:05:05 if they are intended for use by a member of the assistance unit. The number of burial spaces excluded may not exceed the number of persons in the assistance unit. For purposes of this section, "burial space" is a gravesite, crypt, mausoleum, urn, or other repository, casket, or concrete vault.

A grave marker is part of the burial space.
