The abatement of unsafe buildings or structures covered by this chapter shall be in accordance with section 116 of the International Building Code, 2015 edition. Local jurisdictions may make inspections and take actions as required to enforce the provisions of this section. The Department of Public Safety may provide technical assistance as required to enforce the provisions of this section.
